Our Jumping Rat!

 The only problem we ran into with Q-Tip was that she loves to jump! She began to try and jump out of the box at the FR 10 schedule. She jumped on every one after 10 including extinction. The box has a small hole in the middle of the opening and I think she thinks that is her opportunity to escape! She would literally jump off the ground. Me and Kelsey were so shocked! I think she wanted to jump because she could see the small opening at the top of the box. I fixed it by putting a clipboard on the top of the box. That way there was no way she could get out. It could have also been fixed by having a different box that did not have a hole at the top.
